Tallyn

Design

Product Designer

Design the audit report, which is the whole product, and hold Tallyn to the accessibility it sells.

A developer should know which issue to fix first within four seconds of the report loading, and have the fix on the clipboard within ten. That is the design brief.

You also keep Tallyn practising what it preaches: the product itself has to clear AA, work from the keyboard, and have real focus states, because a broken accessibility tool is a bad joke.

What you would own

  • Own the audit report: severity, impact, who it affects, and the code-fix panel.
  • Design the empty states, the loading states, and the re-check flow.
  • Run the product against screen readers and keyboards as part of shipping, not after.
  • Keep the system bright, precise and consistent across marketing and app.

What we are looking for

  • You design real software, not just screens, and you can prototype in code or close to it.
  • You have shipped accessible interfaces and can prove it.
  • You have taste for precise, calm, developer-grade tools.

How hiring runs

A thirty-minute call with a founder, then a paid work session on a real accessibility problem from our backlog, three to four hours, then conversations with two people you would work with. Four steps, usually inside two weeks, and we tell you where you stand at every one.
